Kurt Angle🏅 To Retire From WWE At WrestleMania 35

Kurt Angle's 21-year professional wrestling career will finally come to an end at WrestleMania 35, 'The Olympic Hero' confirmed on last night's Raw.

The 50-year-old broke the news in a third-hour promo. Standing in his Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania hometown, he announced that WrestleMania would see him compete in his "farewell match," then went on to thank every wrestler he'd ever shared a locker-room with.

"I literally had the time of my life," Angle said, tearing up as "thank you Kurt!" filled the building, before Kurt announced that he wanted one final match in his hometown. Out came Apollo Crews, whom the former Raw General Manager dispatched in just under three minutes.

There's currently no word on who Angle might face at WrestleMania, but names like John Cena and The Undertaker are already being speculated.
